Onam Celebrations

Our Cambridge Primary celebrated Onam through vibrant, hands-on activities that introduced children to Kerala’s rich culture and traditions. The boards were beautifully decorated, and children learnt about the story of King Mahabali, reflecting on its values of kindness, equality and generosity. Working collaboratively, children created colourful pookolams and enjoyed learning the traditional Kaikotti dance together. The celebrations nurtured teamwork, creativity, cultural awareness, reflection and appreciation of traditions.
